Come see an impressive range of software projects built by student developers. Six student teams from the Dartmouth Computer Science 98 (COSC98) course will present their senior projects. COSC 98 is a culminating experience for Dartmouth’s CS Major. Discussion and networking immediately following the presentations. Light refreshments provided.
In a two-term course, student groups identified pressing everyday needs and created applications specifically targeted towards addressing these, ranging from sleek new phone apps, browser-based platforms, and standalone programs. Whether it is finding a trustworthy roommate in a new city, getting tutoring for a difficult class, or enabling a more creative writing experience, the students have taken on problems from all facets of life, proposing innovative solutions. Six teams will take turns to pitch their ideas and products, and will also be available afterwards for questions and conversations.
Friends and colleagues from throughout the College and community are encouraged to attend.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
