Biography
Professor Farid's research focuses on digital forensics, image analysis, and human perception. His primary area of expertise is in developing techniques to analyze and authenticate digital content. He has also developed and deployed technology for combatting the global distribution of child exploitation and extremism-related material. At Dartmouth he taught a range of classes from introductory computer science (COSC 1) to advanced-level courses.
