Connect with Us

I conduct research into how sound affects the body and brain, and I create music for sound therapies and medical interventions based on decades of experience as a musician, cognitive neuroscientist, and audio engineer. My courses at Dartmouth include Programming for Audio-Visual Arts, Music and Mind, and Music and Medicine. I was chair of the department of music 2009-2013 and 2016-2018 and, since 2009, I am the director of the Digital Musics MA Program.
