Prerequisite Courses

CS 1 and CS 10 are the prerequisites for all computer science programs. Some students get credit for these courses via high-school credit, or transfer credit, or by taking the placement exam. We recommend that you take these courses as early as possible, and definitely before declaring a CS Major, Modified Major, or Minor. Furthermore, MATH 3 is a prereq to CS 30 & CS 70, and is therefore a "hidden prerequisite".
