Are you interested in working at the intersection of computer science, arts and design? Introducing a new MS Degree in CS with a concentration in Digital Arts Program at Dartmouth College! Open to students from a wide variety of undergraduate majors in areas related to arts, design and technology, students in the new CS/DA program complete a mix of computer science courses, digital arts courses, and research/thesis. They experience a rigorous and focused computer science education, foundational courses in digital arts, and a deep dive into a research topic within the areas of visual computing and digital arts (e.g. computer graphics, HCI, digital fabrication, digital art and media, computer vision, VR and AR).
Courses required for the degree will depend on the background of each student. All students will take 18 credits to graduate–9 courses plus 9 credits in research and thesis writing. See here for more information.
Students accepted into the program are eligible for half and full scholarships and can gain additional experience through work in the DALI Lab.
